Ipe saves her and reaches her home, with Becky cutting herself with a pair of scissors. Wan accuses Ip of using his daughter to get the letter and challenges him to fight for it. The earthquake disrupts the fight, and Vann says they will end their fight at the upcoming Midsummer Festival. Ip refuses, explaining that he took his daughter home for her safety and leaves.
